After a career as a history teacher and school superintendent in Wisconsin, I began writing about the Packers and football history in 2011. I share what I've learned in the presentation Why we love the Packers!  It features hundreds of photographs of my old football cards, newspapers, and magazines. The program is a visual flashback through Packer history, with fans watching for their favorites players and special moments!

When Rodgers threw for 4,643 yards in 2011, he broke the record of what Packer quarterback for the most passing yards in a season?
Answer Below.

* THIS DAY IN PACKER HISTORY!

12/1/1996   On the way to their first Super Bowl since 1968, the Packers defeat the Bears 28-17 at Lambeau.  A punt return for a touchdown by Desmond Howard put Green Bay ahead to stay.  Antonio Freeman also starred catching 10 passes from Brett Favre (19-27-231-1) for 156 yards.  This was Green Bay's sixth straight victory over Chicago.  You have to go back to 1928-1930 to find a longer winning streak!
